Vercid by Dr Jouille - Treatment of hyperkeratosis and plantar calluses

Dr. Jouille's Vercid acts by breaking the biological bonds between skin cells, which facilitates the extraction of hyperkesatosis, without burning the surrounding tissues. It offers optimal healing capacity of the treated area.

Usage tips :
The treatment is generally effective after only 2 to 4 applications, one application per treatment.

Step-by-step of Dr. Jouille’s protocol:
1. Eliminate superficial hyperkeratosis with your scalpel
2. Apply Vercid using a cement spatula to the area then wait a few minutes
3. Cover with an occlusive plaster (Blenderm 2.5m type)
4. Finish by protecting with a dressing (Hypafix type)

Protocol to be carried out during each consultation. Schedule a consultation every 2-3 days. On average it will take 2 to 4 consultations to completely eliminate the hyperkeratosis.

When the treatment comes to an end, it is possible to see a small blister (blister) appear on the treated area. This is completely normal, as it demonstrates the success of the product support.

Contraindications:

Thanks to its composition, Vercid can be used without contraindication in pregnant or breastfeeding women or children over 5 years old.

It can also be used on diabetic patients not suffering from neurological or vascular complications.

The powerful action of Vercid can sometimes cause painful reactions, unrelated to the amount of Vercid used or the type of callus treated. In case of mild pain, it is advisable to take an analgesic. If the pain is too severe, remove the dressing directly, rinse and clean the foot well, re-bandage and make an appointment with a chiropodist-podiatrist.
